My short article about Gendang Beleq was featured on Venture Magz last August. Gendang Beleq is one of traditional music from Lombok Island that very popular for wedding procession. I captured the story in a village called Denggen located in East Lombok, far away from touristy spot. Me and my friends also produced a documenter video of Gendang Beleq there. We spent almost four days to make a great story. (Dwi Putri Ratnasari)

Kedonganan 1 Kedonganan 2

Kedonganan 3Yeay, we arrived on Bali again! Have you ever been to Jimbaran? Waiting for sunset while enjoying seafood for dinner? If you get bored with that same activity, you may take a walk for second to the south of Jimbaran, and find a fish market near Kedonganan Beach. Before having a dinner, you have to shop seafood by yourself on the market. Fortunately, you may find the price is cheaper than seafood in Jimbaran. Then, bring the fish that you have bought in a small restaurant around Kedonganan Beach. Lower price, same sunset with great shopping experience. Well, this article was published on Travelounge Magz October 2013. (Dwi Putri Ratnasari)

My first portfolio on Citilink Inflight Magz called Linked Magz. I reviewed Jejamuran, a unique restaurant located in Yogyakarta, with delicious mushroom menus such as Sate Jamur, Oseng Jamur Lombok Ijo, Tongseng Jamur and Dadar Jamur. It was published on August 2013. (Dwi Putri Ratnasari)

Finally, I wrote about my hometown again! It was about shopping some souvenirs around Jember. Not as much as Yogyakarta or Solo, but still there’s something you could buy that will remind you to my city. Published on Travelounge Magz November 2013. (Dwi Putri Ratnasari)

Pipiltin 1Pipiltin 2

Does anybody here hate chocolate? :p

I love when I have a chance to review about (good) food and restaurant on magazine. This one is Pipiltin Cocoa, a chocolate shop located in Barito Street, Jakarta. I went there last year just right after they held a soft opening and met beautiful young lady as the co-owner. The special thing about this chocolate shop is they only buy the raw chocolates from local farmer in Tabanan (Bali) and Pidijaya (Aceh). Well, the writing was published on Travelounge Magz on August, 2013. (Dwi Putri Ratnasari)

              Gedongsongo 1Gedongsongo 2

Wow! It’s been a while! Time flies and we didn’t post anything since July, 2013. Well, I hope there are more spare times for me (especially) to write something here again. So, this one will become our very first posting on 2014 :p

This is my another portfolio about Gedong Songo Temple in Bandungan, Semarang, Central Java. It was a spontaneous-family trip while me and my husband were celebrated Idul Fitri in Semarang. Just one simple tip before you decide to visit there: go as early as possible. The weather is so perfect in the morning and of course, not too crowded. You can rent a horse to see all the temples or just take a walk. (Dwi Putri Ratnasari)

Kalimantan 1 Kalimantan 2

Prefer going wild on a river rather than sunbathing at the beach? Then you should visit Borneo. This journey was just a small piece of that big island. I visited West Borneo and got chance to explore some national parks. So far, those trips was one of  memorable things in my life. This article published on Travelounge Magz right now. (Dwi Putri Ratnasari)
